1. General Cancellation Policy

​

At FiberCloud, we understand that project requirements and business priorities may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide transparency and fairness while protecting the resources invested in planning, procurement, and delivering professional technology and security solutions.

​

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to FiberCloud.

​

2. Cancellation Before Project Commencement

​

Customers may request cancellation before installation begins.

​

If no equipment has been ordered, labor performed, or project-related expenses incurred, any deposit received will be refunded, less any previously disclosed and agreed nonrefundable charges, subject to applicable law.

​

If project planning, engineering, site surveys, scheduling, procurement, or other authorized work has already been performed, the reasonable, documented costs of those services may be deducted from the refund where permitted by the agreement and applicable law.

3. Cancellation After Deposit or Project Commencement

​

Once a deposit has been received or project activities have commenced, FiberCloud may have committed resources toward the approved project.

​

In the event of cancellation, FiberCloud may retain or recover amounts for:

• Equipment, materials, and supplies purchased or committed for the project.

• Completed installation, configuration, programming, and technical services.

• Authorized project planning, engineering, and site preparation.

• Nonrefundable supplier charges and applicable restocking fees.

• Reasonable, documented project-related expenses and other amounts recoverable under the approved agreement.

Any refundable balance will be calculated after reviewing these costs and amounts already paid.

​

Deposits are not automatically forfeited solely because a customer cancels.

​

4. Special-Order & Custom Equipment

​

Certain products, including custom-configured systems, specially ordered equipment, and nonreturnable materials, may be subject to supplier cancellation restrictions.

​

Any applicable nonrefundable charges will be disclosed in the approved quotation or agreement.

​

Where permitted, the customer may be responsible for costs that FiberCloud cannot reasonably recover or avoid.

​

5. Cancellation During Installation

​

If cancellation occurs after installation has started, FiberCloud will document completed work, materials used, and outstanding authorized project expenses.

The customer will be responsible for payment for completed work and other amounts owed under the approved agreement, subject to applicable law.

​

Any refund or remaining balance will be determined through a final project reconciliation.

​

6. Project Changes vs. Cancellation

​

Requests to modify equipment, quantities, installation locations, or services do not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire project.

​

Changes outside the approved scope require a separate quotation and signed change order before the modified or additional work begins.

​

If requested changes require cancellation of existing equipment orders or previously authorized work, applicable project costs may still be charged.

​

7. Refund Processing

​

Following acceptance of a cancellation request and reconciliation of the project account, FiberCloud will provide a written statement identifying applicable charges, amounts previously paid, and any refund due.

​

Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to applicable payment processing requirements and law.

​

8. Customer Rights & Applicable Law

​

This policy applies primarily to commercial and industrial projects.

​

Residential projects, government contracts, and other agreements subject to special cancellation requirements will follow applicable law and any controlling contractual provisions.

​

Nothing in this policy limits cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot legally be waived.

​
