WARRANTY & SERVICE COMMITMENT
FiberCloud LLC | Technology & Security Solutions
Industrial • Commercial • Residential
At FiberCloud, we are committed to delivering dependable technology and security solutions through quality equipment, professional installation, and reliable customer service.
This General Warranty & Service Commitment explains the standard warranty terms applicable to qualifying products and installation services provided by FiberCloud LLC.
Warranty coverage varies by project and is determined by the equipment, services, and warranty period expressly identified in the customer's approved quotation.
1. EQUIPMENT WARRANTY — 1, 3 OR 5 YEARS
FiberCloud offers eligible equipment warranty options of one (1), three (3), or five (5) years, depending on the products selected and the warranty coverage expressly included in the approved quotation.
Eligible equipment may include:
-
Security cameras and surveillance equipment
-
Network video recorders (NVRs) and digital video recorders (DVRs)
-
Computers, workstations, and servers
-
Networking and communications equipment
-
Access control and intercom systems
-
Other technology equipment expressly identified in the quotation
The applicable equipment warranty period will be clearly stated in the Project Overview, selected quotation option, or equipment warranty details provided to the customer.
The warranty period is not automatically the same for every product or project. Customers should review their approved quotation to confirm whether the selected equipment includes one, three, or five years of coverage.
Equipment Warranty Eligibility
FiberCloud's optional one-, three-, or five-year equipment warranty coverage applies only to qualifying equipment supplied by FiberCloud as part of the approved project.
Equipment purchased independently by the customer, supplied by third parties, or transferred from an existing installation is not covered by FiberCloud's optional equipment warranty unless expressly agreed in writing.
Customer-supplied equipment may carry a separate manufacturer's or retailer's warranty, which remains subject to the terms established by that provider and applicable law.
Equipment Warranty Coverage
Equipment warranty coverage generally applies to qualifying defects in materials or manufacturing under normal operating conditions, subject to the applicable warranty documentation.
Depending on the warranty provider and the coverage expressly included in the quotation, service may involve repair, replacement, or another remedy provided under the applicable warranty.
Replacement products may be equivalent models with reasonably comparable specifications and functionality when the original model is discontinued or unavailable, subject to the applicable warranty and customer rights.
Equipment warranty coverage does not automatically include installation labor, removal, reinstallation, shipping, or onsite service throughout the entire equipment warranty period. Those services are included only when expressly stated in the approved quotation, applicable warranty documentation, or required by law.
2. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION — 1-YEAR LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
FiberCloud LLC provides a 12-month (one-year) limited workmanship warranty for qualifying professional installation services performed using new equipment and installation materials supplied by FiberCloud.
Coverage begins on the date of substantial completion of the applicable installation work.
This warranty covers verified defects directly attributable to FiberCloud's original installation workmanship, including applicable mounting, cabling, connections, and installation configuration performed within the approved scope of work.
During the workmanship warranty period, FiberCloud will correct qualifying installation defects at no additional labor charge.
This workmanship warranty is separate from the equipment warranty. A product covered by a three- or five-year equipment warranty does not automatically receive three or five years of installation workmanship coverage.
3. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT — 30-DAY LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
When a customer purchases, provides, or independently sources equipment for installation by FiberCloud, the installation services will carry a 30-day limited workmanship warranty, subject to applicable law and any different written terms expressly agreed upon in the quotation.
Coverage begins on the date of substantial completion of the applicable installation work.
The 30-day warranty covers verified defects directly attributable to FiberCloud's original installation workmanship.
It does not provide a FiberCloud equipment warranty for customer-supplied products, including pre-existing manufacturing defects, defective components, unsupported devices, product incompatibilities, or equipment failures unrelated to FiberCloud's installation work.
Repairs or replacement of defective customer-supplied equipment are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
FiberCloud may offer separately quoted diagnostic, repair, replacement, or reinstallation services when a customer-supplied product fails.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for FiberCloud's own negligent work or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
4. EXISTING EQUIPMENT, RELOCATIONS & SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS
Existing cameras, recorders, computers, servers, networking equipment, and other devices that are relocated, reconnected, or integrated into a new installation do not automatically receive a new equipment warranty.
When FiberCloud performs relocation or modification services, workmanship coverage will be determined by the applicable approved quotation and the equipment's ownership and supply conditions.
Pre-existing equipment defects, deterioration, unsupported software, expired manufacturer warranties, and failures unrelated to FiberCloud's work are excluded from FiberCloud's limited workmanship warranty.
Any additional warranty coverage must be expressly identified in writing.
5. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FiberCloud's limited warranties do not cover failures, service interruptions, or damage resulting from:
-
Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, vandalism, theft, or physical damage.
-
Power surges, improper electrical service, utility interruptions, lightning, fire, flooding, water intrusion, severe weather, or other environmental conditions.
-
Internet outages, third-party network failures, service provider interruptions, or infrastructure outside FiberCloud's control.
-
Unauthorized modifications, equipment relocation, repairs, or configuration changes performed by others.
-
Software or firmware changes, unsupported third-party integrations, or incompatible equipment not attributable to FiberCloud's covered workmanship.
-
Normal wear and tear, consumable items, routine cleaning, or preventive maintenance.
-
Customer-requested system expansion, additional programming, configuration changes, or upgrades outside the original approved scope.
-
Manufacturer defects or equipment failures outside the applicable equipment warranty.
-
Expired or inactive software subscriptions, cloud services, or equipment licenses.
These exclusions apply only where the excluded condition is responsible for the reported failure or damage and do not eliminate coverage for an otherwise qualifying warranty defect.
6. SERVICE & WARRANTY CLAIMS
Customers experiencing a suspected warranty issue should contact FiberCloud and provide the relevant project information, equipment details, and a description of the problem.
Warranty claims are subject to reasonable inspection, troubleshooting, and verification.
Issues confirmed to fall within FiberCloud's applicable warranty will be addressed according to the approved quotation and warranty terms.
Service requests will ordinarily be scheduled during FiberCloud's regular business hours, subject to technician availability, equipment availability, and reasonable access to the project site.
Emergency, after-hours, and expedited services are not included unless expressly stated in the customer's agreement.
For non-covered issues, FiberCloud may provide a separate service quotation. Any applicable diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or service charges will be disclosed for customer authorization before billable work proceeds.
7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate electrical power, network connectivity, environmental conditions, and required subscriptions or licenses necessary for the normal operation of their systems.
Customers should promptly report suspected warranty defects and provide reasonable access for inspection and authorized repairs.
Customers should not authorize third-party modifications or repairs to a suspected warranty defect without first coordinating with FiberCloud when such work could affect the diagnosis or covered repair. This requirement does not invalidate warranty coverage solely because a customer uses an independent service provider.
8. VIDEO RECORDING, DATA & SYSTEM AVAILABILITY
Security cameras, recording systems, computers, servers, and network-connected equipment may depend on electrical power, network availability, storage capacity, software, licensing, and third-party services.
Unless a separate written service agreement provides otherwise, FiberCloud does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous recording, or any particular recording retention period beyond the capabilities and configuration expressly identified in the approved quotation.
Customers are encouraged to verify system operation regularly and maintain appropriate data backup and recording retention arrangements.
This provision does not exclude responsibility for covered installation defects, express contractual obligations, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. PROJECT-SPECIFIC WARRANTY DETAILS
The customer's approved quotation is the primary reference for the warranty duration and coverage selected for that project.
Each applicable quotation will identify the equipment warranty period in the Project Overview, selected quotation option, or accompanying warranty details.
Depending on the selected solution, qualifying equipment may carry one, three, or five years of warranty coverage.
Professional installation workmanship coverage is ordinarily 12 months for qualifying FiberCloud-supplied installations and 30 days for customer-supplied equipment installations, subject to applicable law and any expressly agreed written terms.
Where products within the same project carry different warranties, the applicable coverage should be identified for each product or equipment category.
Any project-specific warranty provision must be read together with this general policy, applicable manufacturer warranty documentation, and the customer's legal rights.
10. APPLICABLE LAW & CUSTOMER RIGHTS
This warranty policy is intended to apply to FiberCloud's residential, commercial, and industrial projects, subject to the laws applicable to each transaction.
Nothing in this policy limits, disclaims, or overrides consumer rights, implied warranties, statutory protections, or other remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Where applicable law requires additional warranty disclosures, notices, or protections, those requirements will govern.
